Matt’s core duties at Western Ag Global involve financial analysis and business strategy for the company.

Matt grew up in Saskatoon and completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan with a focus on finance and marketing.  After graduating, he worked for three years with QA Technologies promoting their GPS fleet tracking system.  Following that, he spent three years working for Western Union Business Solutions where he handled corporate foreign exchange services.  In this role, Matt managed a wide range of corporate accounts and gained valuable insight into a number of industries including agriculture.

Matt is an active member of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon, volunteering since 2009 and currently acts as Treasurer. He is also provincial director of the Saskatoon Eastview Constituency Association. In his leisure time, Matt enjoys playing a variety of sports including golf, basketball, and hockey.
